The goal of this uplifting event is to raise $4,500 to purchase three Eastman instruments for schools in Arizona and Brookhurst Junior High School in Anaheim, where Kirk first discovered his love for the saxophone. Kirk and his wife, Nicole Tracy, have touched countless lives through their music, and this event aims to honor his legacy while promoting health and well-being. * TO RAISE $4500 to PURCHASE ( 3) THREE EASTMAN INSTRUMENTS for 2 Schools in ARIZONA and BROOKHURST JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL in Anaheim (Where KIRK First learned to play the Sax) With Case & Accessories
* TO HONOR KIRK TRACY. KIRK TRACY Started a Band with his wife, Nicole Tracy over 25 years ago called the Kid and Nic show, they successfully played over 200 shows a year throughout the USA for the last 25 years. One night after the show, A young man and his father, met Kirk up on stage. - Kirk took the time to teach the young man how to hold the sax. The Father expressed how his son wanted to learn how to play the Sax. Kirk researched and found a teacher in the child's area and GIFTED this young child a SAX. The child grew up playing the Sax. When The KID AND NIC SHOW was in their city playing the now this talented young man came up on stage and played with the band. The young man was blind. Kirk said that he "Fell in love with the healing vibrations of the Sax in Junior High School." We would like to carry on that beautiful Piece of Kirk's Kind heart with this walk.
* Walk and Be healthy - Kirk Loved to Hike, Run and be heathy. He Hiked 5 Miles with his wife and friends just weeks after finding out he had cancer. We will be walking that same hike May 10th.
**** In The MONTH OF APRIL we are doing a virtual walk. Goal is to walk just 20 minutes everyday of April. But just do as much as you can do. Just start moving.
* Start a new habit of Health prepare for the 5k (3.2miles) walk if you decide you want to do that as well or Not. You may want to just walk in APRIL that is fine or maybe just walk MAY 10th. The choice is yours.......
