Kick off the new year with a burst of energy at the Kiwanis Resolution 5K Run/Walk and 10K Run/Walk, taking place on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at the stunning Mountain View Shoreline Park in Santa Clara. This vibrant event offers participants the choice between a 5K and a 10K distance, both featuring digital chip timing for a seamless race experience. Whether you're a seasoned runner or looking to enjoy a leisurely walk, this event is perfect for everyone, including families with kids, as there will also be a 1K Kids run for ages 1-10, complete with race T-shirts for all young participants!
The 10K race kicks off at 10:00 AM, followed by the 5K at 10:15 AM, all set against the picturesque Bayland trails. Enjoy free parking, delicious post-race snacks, and a chance to earn plenty of awards. Remember, no dogs are allowed in Shoreline Park, but feel free to bring your friends, family, and neighbors for a fun day out. KIWANIS Resolution Races are in-person runs at Mountain View Shoreline Park! Weve both a 5K and 10K event to choose from, with Digital Chip timing for both.
This year we are again running on Saturday January 3 to give holiday travelers a chance to participate too. Start the new year out with a great run on a great day on the Bayland trails!. It's a beautiful location with free parking, great race, with post-race snacks and lots of awards.
PLEASE NOTE THAT NO DOGS ARE ALLOWED IN SHORELINE PARK.
We will again have a 1K Kids run this year for ages 1-10 and this year all 1K participants will also receive a race T shirt. Plan on bringing all kids and the neighbors too!
RACE DAY IS JAN 4, 2025. The 10K starts at 10:00 AM and the 5K starts at 10:15 AM. All inside Mountain View Shoreline Park. Parking is free for all.
