Get ready for a spooktacular day of fun and fitness at the inaugural Knoxville Halloween 5K and Kid's Dash on Sunday, October 27th, 2024! Held in the vibrant Old City of Knoxville, this exciting event kicks off with the Kid's Dash at 2:00 PM, followed by the thrilling 5K race starting at 2:30 PM. Participants can run, walk, or even trick-or-treat their way through a scenic course that celebrates the festive spirit of Halloween.
Dress up in your most creative costumes and enjoy an all-you-can-eat pizza buffet courtesy of Barley's Taproom, plus drinks for those 21 and over. Every 5K racer will receive a unique finisher's medal, a glow-in-the-dark t-shirt designed by local artist Paris Woodhull, and a swag bag filled with goodies from our fantastic sponsors. The Kid's Dash, a fun and untimed half-mile event for children, promises its own delights, including a special finisher's ribbon and a delicious cotton candy prize from Flossy Knox! Bring the whole family, including strollers and furry friends (at your own risk), for a memorable day that combines community spirit with Halloween fun.

Kids Dash starts at 2:00 PM and 5K RACE STARTS AT 2:30 PM on Sunday October 27th, 2024. Start and finish are at Barley's Taproom in Knoxville.
Join us for the FIRST ANNUAL Knoxville Halloween 5K AND our new KIDS DASH From Carrie On Events, the nonprofit that brings you Barleys St Patricks Day 5k! Participants can run, walk, or trick-or-treat their way through our timed 5k course starting in Knoxvilles Old City. Costumes are ENCOURAGED!
Each 5K entry fee includes: (Capped at 500 runners)
All you can eat pizza buffet provided by Barley's and two drinks (must be 21+ to drink) will be served by Barley's awesome bartenders. A Spooky finisher's medal, Tshirt designed by local artist Paris Woodhull with GLOW IN THE DARK INK, free photo downloads from our awesome photographer, and a swag bag from our fantastic sponsors.

Strollers and dogs are welcome (at your own risk) on the course and dress to impress! We have our coveted Carrie Daugherty Spirit Award up for grabs again this year! **Please note that since this course is on an open street, headphones are discouraged.**
