Organiser's Description
The course is designed for athletes of all ages and skill levels – ideal for first-time triathletes venturing into a newfound passion and grizzled veterans chasing a personal best. On Event day we host three unique races; a Super Sprint (300m/12k/5k), Championship Distance (1000m/35k/10k) and, in proud partnership with UCLA Triathlon, the Iron Bruin collegiate distance race(1000m/24k/5k). The Iron Bruin race is open to collegiate athletes from all schools.

Course Details
The triathlon begins on the south shore swim beach of Bonelli Park. The event features swim distances of 1000 meters (Championship and Collegiate Distance) and 300 meters. All events use the same bike course, the difference being the number of laps. The longest bike course involves 3 laps for a total of 35k (about 20 miles). The course begins on Raging Waters Drive before crossing the Puddingstone dam onto Puddingstone drive. The course then turns onto Fairplex Drive and Via Verde before athletes continue to the transition area or additional laps. The run portion takes place entirely on footpaths within Bonelli park.
