Organiser's Description
Come join the Friends of Lake Brownwood State Park and enjoy this wonderful Texas State Park. We are a group of volunteers who seek to create improvements and support the conservation of Lake Brownwood State Park through service projects and fundraising. We are currently working to build funds for a playground for the Day-Use Area of the park for children to enjoy. The 5k has been created to generate funds for this project, though we hope to make it an annual event. All proceeds from the Friends Group, including this event, are used for Lake Brownwood State Park for improvements.
The 5K run will take place on partial pavement and the Nopales Ridge trail. The 1-mile run will be on pavement only.
Race t-shirts are guaranteed to racers registered by February 28, 2025.

12 and under registration is $5 (includes shirt)
Groups of 5 or more please with received a $5.00 discount per person.
