Join us for the 2nd annual Lake Community Hope 5k and Fun Run on Sunday, August 17, 2025, in Uniontown, Stark! This vibrant event is not only a fantastic way to get active but also serves a noble purpose, raising funds for the Lake Community Hope Scholarship Fund in memory of Melissa, Renee, Amber, and Evan. Participants can choose to challenge themselves in the 5k run/walk, perfect for competitive runners, joggers, and power walkers alike, or enjoy a leisurely stroll in the fun run designed for younger children and supporters.
This year’s event promises an exciting new course route and features a chip timing system for the 5k, ensuring accurate results for all participants. Early packet pickup will be available at the Uniontown Lions Festival from August 14-16, with event day registration set to begin at 6:30 am behind the Lake Community YMCA. The 2nd annual Lake Community Hope 5k run/walk and fun run will be on 8/17/25. This even will occur in the Lake Community with the partnership of the Lake Community YMCA, to raise money for the Lake Community Hope Scholarship Fund in Memory of Melissa, Renee, Amber and Evan.
As we grow, this year, will feature a new course route and the opportunity for more sponsors and vendors to participate.
The 5k is designed for both competitive runners, joggers, power walkers and those just out for a stroll. The 5k will feature a chip timing system this year!
The fun run is great for younger kiddos and those that want to participate but also want to cheer on the 5k event or even volunteer.
Shirt:
All participants will receive a unisex shirt. SHIRT SIZES WILL BE LIMITED AFTER JULY 31 WITH LIMITED SELECTION!
