Join us for the Lake Granbury Kiwanis Firecracker 5K & 1M Fun Run on Friday, July 4th, 2025, in the picturesque town of Granbury, Hood County. This exciting event features a USATF-certified 5K course that promises to be flat and fast, making it perfect for both seasoned runners and newcomers alike. The race kicks off bright and early, with registration and packet pickup starting at 6:15 a.m. The 5K race begins at 7:15 a.m., followed by the 1 Mile Fun Run at 7:20 a.m.
Participants can enjoy a fun and festive atmosphere, with awards presented immediately after the 5K concludes. Runners aged 11 and over can register for just $30, while those 10 and under or 65+ can participate for only $25. The 1M Fun Run is available for all ages at just $20. Don’t forget to register by June 25th to guarantee your event t-shirt! This course has been certified by the USATF as an official 5K distance. Our certification is TX14071ETM. This is a very flat and fast course.
Race will be chip timed by Race Day Event Services.
