This vibrant event promises a fantastic day for the entire family, featuring a thrilling 5K run and a 1-mile Family Fun Run, perfect for participants of all ages.
In addition to the races, indulge in a variety of activities including a dress-up contest, a dog costume contest, face painting, and balloon animals to keep the kids entertained. For the first time, we’re excited to introduce a Trunk or Treat, making this event even more special! Ally's Wish, a nonprofit dedicated to granting last wishes for young, terminally ill mothers, will benefit from your participation. With over 300 wishes granted since its inception, your support helps create lasting memories for families in need. Don’t miss out on this wonderful opportunity to have fun, make memories, and give back to the community!

We are pleased to announce our 7TH ANNUAL 5K AND FAMILY FUN DAY in partnership with the beautiful Flower Mound development, Lakeside DFW. Please mark your calendar and plan to join us on the course on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 26, 2024! A day for the entire family, Allys Wish and Lakeside DFW are proud to invite you to join us for a fun filled morning honoring and celebrating the lives of the moms that Allys Wish supports. THE EVENT WILL INCLUDE A 5K RUN, 1 MILE FAMILY FUN RUN AND A DRESS UP CONTEST AS WELL AS A DOG COSTUME CONTEST, FACE PAINTING AND BALLOON ANIMALS. AND FOR THE FIRST TIME, A TRUNK OR TREAT!!!
Allys Wish, Inc. is a nonprofit organization founded in Flower Mound, TX devoted to granting the last wish to young, terminally ill mothers with children. Inspired by the late Allyson Hendrickson, Allys Wish provides a memory for the family that will last a lifetime. Wishes are granted in the form of services, gifts, transportation, lodging, or any other wish the mother may have, and a typical wish granted is approximately $5,000. Since inception, more than 300 wishes have been granted to families across North Texas and the U.S. These wishes are so important in creating not only memories in the moment, but also memories to cherish for the children they leave behind.
There are many ways that you can support the Lakeside 5K including but not limited to branding sponsorships, sponsoring a water station, gathering a corporate / group team of 10, becoming an on-site vendor or racing as an individual. Your dollars will count and your dollars will make an impact, changing the lives of the families that Allys Wish serves.
