Join us in Maple Rapids on Saturday, September 21st for the LAMPLIGHTER FESTIVAL 5K RUN/WALK. The 5K will kick off the festival activities. Immediately following the race, there will be a lamplighter ceremony and parade. There will be craft shows and live entertainment in the park and fun activities for the kiddos! This is a family friendly event, all ages and abilities are welcome.
5K PRICING: $30 until September 1st, (shirts guaranteed), then $35 (shirts limited, available as supplies last). Registration on day of race is $40.
KIDS DASH FOR AGES 10 AND UNDER will be held shortly before the 5k and is a fun run for the kids - FREE. Kids will receive a finishers ribbon.
LOCATION: Meet at Park Pavilion on corner of Main St and Poplar St in Maple Rapids, MI 48853
5K RACE START TIME: 8:30 am
KIDS FUN RUN DASH: Shortly before the 5k start - Approx 8:00 am to 8:15 am start
PACKET PICKUP: 7:15 to 8:15 AM on race day morning
5K AWARDS: Overall award for top Female and Male finisher. Medals for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place in each age group: 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
The race will be chip timed by the MICHIGAN RUNNING FOUNDATION. Results will be available live during the race and afterwards on this website.
