Kick off your Thanksgiving morning with our annual RUNNING OF THE TURKEYS trail run! Enjoy rolling hills and wide dirt trails, featuring a stunning waterfall view at the halfway point. We cant think of a better way to burn a few calories before indulging in pumpkin pie. Bring your family and friends and join us for a great time, we cant wait to see you out there!

LOCATION: Torrey Hills Neighborhood Park, 4300 Calle Mejillones, San Diego, CA 92130
PRE-RACE BRIEFING: 7:40 AM (well then walk about 1/2 mile to the start/finish area)
This is a NO FRILLS FUN RUN - no timing, no parking fees, no stress, just a relaxed morning on the trails with great people! Please note this is a CUPLESS EVENT, so bring your own water if youd like hydration on the course.
ENTRY & CHARITY INFO:
Theres NO OFFICIAL ENTRY FEE, but we kindly ask for a MINIMUM $20 PER PERSON DONATION to support our partner charity, OPERATION REBOUND, a division of the CHALLENGED ATHLETES FOUNDATION (CAF). This incredible organization helps military, first responders, and veterans with permanent physical injuries get back into sports.

Check in will be open from 7:15-7:30 AM at Torrey Hills Park. The 10K distance is for runners only due to the time cutoff. This is a cup less run, please bring a water bottle or CamelBak if you think you will want water. It is a fun course and will be a great time! -
Running of the Turkeys 5K Trail Run
