The event features a 1/2 mile Kids Fun Run for ages 14 and under starting at 8:15 AM, followed by the main 5K run/walk at 8:30 AM.
This professionally chip-timed event ensures a smooth race experience with a closed course and dedicated volunteers along the route. Participants can look forward to complimentary registration goodies, including participation medals for the kids and commemorative finisher medals for the 5K. Enjoy food from local food trucks, a bounce house for the little ones, and celebrate with fellow runners! After the races, don’t miss the evening festivities at Shaker Woods, complete with more food trucks, entertainment, and a spectacular fireworks display starting at 1:00 PM. - RACE DAY REGISTRATION AND PACKET PICK-UP TAKE PLACE FROM 7:00AM TO 8:00AM.
- THE 1/2 MILE KIDS FUN RUN (AGES 14 & UNDER) STARTS AT 8:15AM AND THE 5K RUN/WALK STARTS AT 8:30AM. BOTH RACES ARE PROFESSIONALLY CHIP TIMED BY GCXC RACING - YOUNGSTOWN.
