Get ready for an exciting day of fun and fitness at the third annual Land of the Free 5K, happening on Saturday, June 28th, 2025, in beautiful Columbiana, Ohio! This vibrant event takes place at the Shaker Woods Festival Grounds, where participants of all ages can join in on the action. The day kicks off with race day registration and packet pick-up from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM, followed by the energetic 1/2 mile Kids Fun Run for ages 14 and under at 8:15 AM, and the challenging 5K Run/Walk starting at 8:30 AM.
Both races are professionally chip-timed, ensuring accurate results for all competitors. The 5K course is a scenic out-and-back route that is closed to traffic, with plenty of water stops and enthusiastic volunteers cheering you on! Participants in the Kids Fun Run will receive a participation medal, while those in the 5K will earn a commemorative finisher medal, a patriotic t-shirt, and a custom chip-timed bib number. Plus, enjoy the thrill of competing for custom coasters awarded to the top finishers! After the races, stick around for an afternoon of food
