Get ready for an exhilarating experience at the LBL Bridge to Bridge Trail Run on Saturday, October 17th, 2026, in the scenic backdrop of Hardin, Marshall. This exciting event features a challenging 22-kilometer trail race that promises to be a memorable adventure for runners of all levels. Participants can choose to race individually or team up in 2-person or 3-person relay divisions. The course begins on the Canton side of the iconic Lake Barkley Bridge, leading runners through the stunning Land Between the Lakes Recreation area.
As you navigate the course, you'll enjoy the beautiful scenery along the paved path of Highway 80 before connecting with the Central Hardwoods Scenic Trail. Runners will follow this scenic trail all the way to the finish line at Fenton, crossing the Kentucky Lake Bridge along the way. New for 2026, there's also an exciting 1.5-mile fun run starting from the Fenton side of Eggner's Ferry Bridge, perfect for families and casual runners! Organiser's Description
A 22 Kilometer Trail Race. There will be divisions for individual, 2 person relay team, and 3 person relay team.
Starting on the Canton side of the Lake Barkley Bridge and crossing into the beautiful Land Between the Lakes Recreation area. The course will follow the paved path along highway 80 until connecting with the Central Hardwoods Scenic Trail. Runners will stay on the Central Hardwoods Scenic Trail for the full distance of the trail ending at Fenton. The course will then connect with the Kentucky Lake Bridge where runners will cross and finish just west of Kentucky Lake along Highway 80.
NEW FOR 2026 there will be a one and a half mile fun run! The fun run will start on the Fenton side of the Eggner's Ferry Bridge crossing Kentucky Lake. There will be a separate Run Sign Up race page for the Fun Run. https://runsignup.com/Race/KY/Hardin/OverTheBridgeFunRun
