LIBERTY ELEMENTARY PARENT TEACHER ORGANIZATION (LPTO) WILL BE HOSTING RUN FOR THE KIDS IN DOWNTOWN SALLISAW ON APRIL 11TH , AND WE WOULD LOVE FOR YOU TO JOIN US. THE RACE WILL BE RUN A USATF CERTIFIED COURSE THAT HAS BEEN PREVIOUSLY USED FOR THE DIAMOND DAZE FESTIVAL RUN AND THE RACE WILL BE TIMED BY I:40 RACE SERVICE. WE WILL ALSO HAVE A 1 MILE FUN RUN FOR KIDS AND THOSE WHO WANT TO SHOW THEIR SUPPORT OVER A SHORTER DISTANCE.
WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?
LPTO EXISTS TO RAISE FUNDS TO BE ABLE TO SUPPORT TEACHERS AND STUDENTS IN THE CLASSROOM. WE SHOW OUR SUPPORT WITH MONTHLY TEACHER APPRECIATION AND FILLING FINANCIAL GAPS WHEN NEEDED. THIS EVENT IS SPECIFICALLY GEARED AROUND RAISING FUND FOR A SHADED PAVILION FOR THE PLAYGROUND OF THE THRIVING PRE-K PROGRAM.
