Starting at 8:00 am at Mitch Park, participants can choose to join the 5K Run/Walk or take part in the 1 Mile Fun Run, making it a perfect outing for the entire family—strollers, grandparents, and well-behaved dogs are all welcome!
In addition to the race, don’t miss the chance to show off your creativity in our fun costume contest, with a special prize for the most impressive outfit! This year, the Liberty Sprint 5K is proud to support the Travis Manion Foundation, helping empower veterans and families of fallen heroes to instill character in future generations. Join us for a morning filled with fun, fitness, and community spirit!

Welcome to the Liberty Sprint 5K kicking off Edmond's LibertyFest [https://www.libertyfest.org/], the largest 4th of July celebration in Oklahoma!
Join us at Mitch Park on Saturday June 27th at 8:00 am for a 5K Run/Walk or a 1 Mile Fun Run!
The event is great for the whole family from strollers to grandparents, and dog friendly for well-socialized pups on a leash. We do ask that any participants with dogs be prepared with a "pick up" bag to attend to any unscheduled potty breaks on the course. We want to leave the park spotless, so we need everyone to do their part!
For additional fun, participate in our costume contest! We'll have a special prize for the most amazing get up.
THE EVENT WILL SUPPORT THE TRAVIS MANION FOUNDATION, EMPOWERING VETERANS AND FAMILIES OF FALLEN HEROES TO DEVELOP CHARACTER IN FUTURE GENERATIONS.

The 5K Run course is a single external lap of the Mitch Park trail system, (see map below for details). The route is combination of flat to gently rolling terrain. There are some inclines but the course is suitable for runners of all abilities. -

Want to join the fun but can't join us on race day? Choose the virtual option and you can get your run done and submit your results any time between race day and midnight July 4th. You can have a friend or family pick up your packet and finisher medal during scheduled times prior to the race. -
