Organiser's Description
The race will take place on the speedway with runners and walkers completing two loops of the classic race track while the Lime Rock Epic [https://www.bikereg.com/limerockepic] bicycling event is happening off the course.
The 5K running event will be held to help support The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp. This camp is dedicated to providing a different kind of healing to children with serious illnesses and their families, free of charge. We are a community that celebrates the spirit of childhood, the sound of laughter and the feeling of endless possibility.
_Founded in 1988 by Paul Newman, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp provides "a different kind of healing" to thousands of children with serious illnesses and family members annually-all completely free of charge._
_For many of these children and families, Hole in the Wall provides multiple Camp experiences throughout the year at the facility in Ashford, Conn., in dozens of hospitals and clinics, directly in camper homes and communities, and through other outreach activities across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic._
_Your donation provides hope, joy, and the healing power of Camp and supports Hole in the Walls growing programs. Thank you for being part of a caring community of friends who help bring Paul Newman's dream to exciting new places._
