Get ready for an exciting day of athleticism and fun at the Littlefoot Triathlon in Coeur D'Alene, Kootenai, on Saturday, July 25, 2026! This vibrant event is designed to inspire young athletes with a fantastic kids’ triathlon featuring two race distances. Participants can choose between the Short distance, which includes a 100-meter swim, a 3K bike ride, and a 1K run, or the Long distance, featuring a 200-meter swim, a 4.5K bike ride, and a 2K run. The swim will take place in the picturesque Spokane River, where athletes can safely touch the shore and even use flotation devices if they prefer. Join us for a day of adventure, teamwork, and community spirit as we celebrate the joy of triathlon in our beautiful city!

We are happily bringing back a kids Triathlon to our beautiful City. We have two distances, Short and long.
Short-
100 M swim
3K bike
1K run
Long-
200 M Swim
4.5K bike
2K run
The swim will be in the Spokane River and the athletes will have the option to swim along the shore and can touch, if they choose to. They are also allowed to wear flotation devices.
