Join us for the Live Oak High School 5K on Saturday, August 15, 2026, in Denham Springs, Livingston. This exciting event, which has been a community favorite since its inception in 2011, promotes the values of Pride, Character, and Tradition that the Live Oak Community cherishes. The day kicks off at 6:45 AM with a lively opening ceremony, followed by a fun and engaging ONE MILE FUN RUN on our track, perfect for families and runners of all ages.
Immediately after the Fun Run, get ready to challenge yourself in the main 5K race that winds its way around the picturesque campus and through local neighborhoods, finishing back on the track. Participants can look forward to delicious post-race refreshments and the chance to win prizes! Don’t forget to register by 12 AM on August 10th to secure your t-shirt! Strollers are welcome, but please leave your furry friends at home. Join us for a day of fun, fitness, and community spirit that supports the Live Oak High School Cross Country Teams!

Organiser's Description
Established in 2011, our 5K promotes Pride, Character & Tradition which are the values the Live Oak Community builds upon. Saturday morning, August 15, 2026 at 6:45 AM, we'll start with a small opening ceremony followed by a ONE MILE FUN RUN on our track. Immediately following the Fun Run, 5K will begin. The route will again going around our campus, through local neighborhoods and back to finish on the track. Post race refreshments will be ready for our finishers with prizes awarded accordingly.
REGISTER BY 12AM AUGUST 10TH TO BE GUARANTEED A T-SHIRT!!
Strollers are welcome but please, NO FUR BABIES. Walkers and those participants pushing strollers are asked to start in the back of the pack.
Sponsorships are available with proceeds benefiting Live Oak High School Cross Country Teams.
