This challenging and technical trail run, starting at 8:30 a.m., will take participants through the stunning landscapes of the Lake Lure Classical Academy campus, Dittmer-Watts Nature Trails, and the picturesque Lake Lure greenspace. Runners and walkers of all ages are invited to join the 5K or the fun run, which kicks off at 9:30 a.m. This event is not only a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors but also a chance to support a wonderful cause—raising funds for outdoor recreation and adventure equipment for students in grades 4 and up.
Participants can look forward to age-based divisions, ensuring everyone has a chance to compete for prizes, including overall winners and masters categories. For those who can’t attend in person, a virtual runner option is available, allowing you to support the cause from afar.
