Join us for the 4th Annual Colors of Cancer Memorial 5K Charity Event honoring LouAnn Burchfield and Kathy Hannan Hale, benefiting cancer patients and their families through The Sunshine Charity
All proceeds support local families battling cancer, helping with essential needs such as co-pays, groceries, gas, travel, lodging, and more.
The race begins at Tri Bs Coffee Shop and follows a flat, scenic route along the Ohio River, making it perfect for runners and walkers of all levels. After the race, stay and enjoy the community atmosphere, including specialty drinks from Tri Bs with proceeds benefiting The Sunshine Charity.

If you are looking for a longer distance, please register for one of the 5K options.
Get decked out in as many colors as you like the brighter, the better!
Many participants choose colors that represent a specific cancer to honor loved ones.

Leisure Option:
Not looking to race? The Leisure Option allows you to walk, jog, or participate at your own pace without timing or competition. Youll still be part of the event and celebration just without the pressure.
Leading up to the event, we encourage participants to share stories and honor loved ones in our Facebook group. Funds raised will be distributed to families in need following race day.

**Introducing the Leisure Option for the Colors of Cancer 5K!** We understand that not everyone wants to race against the clocksome of you just want to soak in the atmosphere, enjoy the beautiful route, and support a great cause in a more relaxed way. Thats why were excited to introduce the **Leisure Option** for this years Colors of Cancer 5K! **What is the Leisure Option?** - **No Pressure:** This option is perfect for those who want to walk, jog, or simply enjoy the event at their own pace without worrying about time or competition. - **Flexible Distance:** Feel free to complete as much or as little of the course as you like. Whether you do the whole 5K or just a portion, your participation is what matters most! - **Community Spirit:** Youll still receive an T shirt and be part of all the festivities, including the post-race celebration. However, you wont be eligible for timed awards, so you can focus on the fun and the cause. Were all here to support the fight against cancer, so no matter how you choose to participate, your involvement makes a difference. Whether youre racing for a personal best or just enjoying a leisurely stroll, we cant wait to see you there! -
