On Sunday, March 1, 2026, the South Florida community will gather at Tradewinds Park for the 5K for Jamaica, a heartfelt event dedicated to supporting the victims of Hurricane Melissa. This historic storm, which struck the island as a powerful Category 5, left a trail of immense destruction that continues to impact families and infrastructure across Jamaica. By participating in this 5K, attendees are helping to raise essential funds for relief organizations working on the ground to provide food, clean water, and long-term rebuilding assistance to those who lost everything in the disaster.
