Get ready for a festive celebration at the Annual Main Street Kids Run/Walk on Saturday, December 13, 2025, in Longmont, Boulder! This joyful event invites participants of all ages and abilities to embrace the holiday spirit by running, jogging, skipping, or dancing down Main Street. Covering approximately one mile, this merry race takes place just before the enchanting Longmont Lights Parade, creating a perfect opportunity for families to come together in support of a meaningful cause.
For a suggested donation of $10 per participant, you'll receive an official race bib, a goodie bag filled with delightful snacks from Natural Grocers, and access to a hot chocolate bar and snacks at the finish line! The course starts at Main Street & Longs Peak Ave, winding its way down the west side of Main to 3rd Ave before returning for a festive finish. Don't miss the fun giveaways for the best-dressed participants, including awards for the most lights, best family outfit, and best stroller decoration. Join us for this heartwarming event that benefits Colorado Kids Belong, dedicated to improving experiences for kids in foster care, and help spread joy throughout the community!

Join us for the Annual Main Street Mile Kids Run, hosted by Shoes & Brews and the Longmont Downtown Development Authority (LDDA).
This merry mile (just about one mile total) is open to all ages, all abilities, and all levels of holiday spirit! Before the Longmont Lights Parade takes over downtown, enjoy a rare moment to run, walk, or dance your way down Main Street all while supporting a great cause.
