This event, which honors the legacy of Mark Knutson, is perfect for cyclists of all skill levels, whether you're looking for a competitive challenge or a leisurely ride with friends and family. Starting at 8:30 AM from Detroit Lakes High School, riders can choose from four scenic routes named after the stunning lakes they lead to: the Detroit Lake route (approximately 12 miles), Lake Sallie (21.5 miles), Lake Melissa (29 miles), and the newly introduced Acorn Lake to Frazee + Lake Melissa route (43.5 miles), designed for those who can maintain a minimum pace of 15 mph.
After the ride, participants can enjoy complimentary tap beer or soda at local favorites like HUB 41, ROASTED, or BRYGGE, along with delicious root beer floats courtesy of Hub 41 at the finish line! With proceeds benefiting Project 412, this is not just a ride—it's a way to give back to the community while celebrating the joy of cycling. Mark your calendars and get ready to Tour Da Lakes!

Formerly the Mid-Summer Bike Tour...Summer 2023 was the launch of Tour Da Lakes!
In 2026 we will remember & honor Mark Knutson with the Mark Knutson Memorial Tour Da Lakes...a Project 412 Event. Part of the proceeds going back into the community through a donation to Project 412. https://project412mn.org/
Join us for a beautiful Saturday morning bike ride with friends, family or just by yourself! It's as competitive or non-competitive as you want it to be.
* FREE tap beer or soda after the ride at either HUB 41, ROASTED OR BRYGGE!
* ROOT BEER FLOATS for all riders (courtesy of Hub 41) at the finish line as well.
Start time for ALL distances will be 8:30AM AT DETROIT LAKES HIGH SCHOOL! (_located at 1301 Roosevelt Ave., Detroit Lakes, MN 56501_)
