Join us on June 6th in historic Mt. Carroll, Illinois for the Market Street Pizza Spirits Run, a 5K that blends smalltown charm, a touch of gothic atmosphere, and the energy of a summer Farmers Market morning.
The race starts and finishes at Market Street Pizza on Market Street, right in the heart of Mt. Carrolls beautiful historic district. Runners will head up Market Street past vintage storefronts and the Farmers Market area before climbing to Oak Hill Cemetery overlooking the town.
From there, the course follows a quiet back path along the rear of the cemetery, with peaceful views and a true spirits moment, before looping back through town on neighborhood streets and returning to Market Street Pizza for the finish.
This is a relaxed, communityfocused event perfect for runners, walkers, and anyone who loves exploring Illinois hiddengem towns.
