Organiser's Description
The World Telecommunication and Information Society Day (WTISD) helps raise awareness on how the Internet and other information and communication technologies (ICT) benefit our societies and economies and help bridge the digital divide. WTISD was born from the combination of the former World Telecommunication and World Information Society days and is held annually on May 17th. As youre out there enjoying your trek, assess your surroundings, look for the benefits technology plays in your area, and think of ways we can contribute to the greater good. Complete your 5k and log your time on the honor system back here on the website.
