Get ready for an exhilarating day of running at the Medal Madness 5K, 10K, & Half Marathon on Saturday, September 6, 2025! This exciting event takes place at Shamrock Park in beautiful Venice, Florida, part of the stunning Sarasota area. Runners of all levels are invited to join the fun on a picturesque course that features a blend of concrete and asphalt paths, starting at 8:00 AM.
Participants can choose from three race distances: the 5K, a single out-and-back loop, the 10K, which consists of two loops, or the challenging Half Marathon, which includes four loops. With a time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes, there’s plenty of time to enjoy the scenery and camaraderie. Be sure to register in advance on RunSignup, as there will be no on-site registration. All finishers will receive a medal, and there are exciting awards for the best costumes! Don’t miss out on this fantastic running event in Venice, where you can challenge yourself while soaking in the natural beauty of Shamrock Park!

This course is a mix of concrete and asphalt.
Bathrooms are located in the Nature Center.
