Our area veterans and active-duty service members will conduct a brief ceremony of remembrance followed by the running of our unique 5K race.
The racecourse, through the Lake Barrington Shores community, has been certified by U.S. Track and Field and will be professionally chip timed. Participants will receive a race tech shirt and beautiful finishers medal as part of their registration.
THE MEMORIAL 5K IS A 100% CHARITY 5K RACE. The proceeds from your race registration will benefit the Memorial 5K Foundation, which supports the work of the VETERANS OF LAKE BARRINGTON SHORES and the TUNNEL TO TOWERS Foundation.
