San Mateo PAL and StarVista in collaboration with Stride for Awareness present:
Mental Health Matters: A 5K Run/Walk and Wellness Fair
Join us on May 18, 2024, from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm at Ryder Park in San Mateo. This day is dedicated to supporting health and mental wellness, encouraging community partnerships, and educating about diverse resources.
5K Run/Walk (Participation Fee)
Start the day with a 5K Run or Walk on the trail of Ryder and Seal Point Park! Strollers and dogs are welcome with mindfulness to other participants. All participants will receive a t-shirt and finishers pin at the end of the race.
After the 5K Run/Walk, attend our FREE Wellness Fair at Ryder Park starting at 9:30 am to enjoy wellness activities like yoga and painting, food trucks, and explore local wellness exhibitors.
****When registering for the 5K, you don't need to register for the Wellness Fair. This is included in your ticket purchase.****
Wellness Fair (Complimentary)
Join San Mateo PAL and StarVista for the Wellness Fair at Ryder Park starting at 9:30 am. This fair features wellness activities like painting, scrapbooking, yoga, guest speakers, and information booths hosted by various health and wellness advocates.
The Wellness Fair is FREE to all event attendees!
This a community event that brings us together to support and raise awareness about the importance of health and mental well-being.
