The race kicks off at 8:00 AM, but don't forget to arrive early for bib pick-up starting at 6:30 AM. Whether you're running or walking, every participant will contribute to the vital manatee research efforts supported by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. After the run, take some time to explore the FCTC campus, a collaboration of environmental champions including Tampa Electric and the Florida Aquarium. Remember, this event is sold out, but keep an eye out for future opportunities to join the fun and support our beloved manatees!

TAMPA ELECTRIC'S 2026 RUN FOR THE MANATEES 5K WILL BE EXTRA SPECIAL BECAUSE WERE CELEBRATING THE 40TH ANNIVERSARY OF OUR MANATEE VIEWING CENTER!
The route will pass by the Manatee Viewing Center, the cornerstone of Tampa Electric's Florida Conservation & Technology Center (FCTC), and wind through the gorgeous trails on the FCTC campus. Best of all, the unique run will raise awareness and support for Tampa Electrics manatee conservation efforts by supporting the manatee research program within the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
