Metrohealth Resiliency Run

The 7th annual Resiliency Run features a 5k run through the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. The unfortunate truth is that traumatic and burn injuries are common in our community, but so are strength and recovery. The Resiliency Run was created to honor this strength and to acknowledge the extraordinary people - survivors and their loved ones - who are moving themselves from the worst days to the very best. This event also honors the caregivers who provide a steady hand of healing along the way. Funds raised will benefit trauma and burn survivors who come to MetroHealth for critical care needs as well as other healthcare needs.

Participants Receive
A short-sleeved t-shirt and post-race refreshments and can enjoy the Zoo and Rainforest all day!
T-shirts are dispersed on a first come first serve basis. Participants who do not receive a shirt at the race will receive their shirt at a later date if quantities/sizes are insufficient.
 
Spectators
Spectator Wristband - $10 cash or check or free with a zoo membership
Spectators must collect their wristbands from registration by 8:30am and enter the zoo by 11am. After registration closes and you have not received your wristband, you must go to the box office and purchase a regularly priced ticket. 
 
Awards
In lieu of finisher awards this year we will be honoring the resiliency of our survivors and community members. Please join us 8 am for this awards ceremony!
 
Virtual Event
Virtual 5K and 1 Mile Runners and Walkers - $30.00 
While physical distancing, we can still come together to raise awareness, generate funds and help MetroHealth during these challenging times. Simply register to participate and join us, virtually, to complete the 5K or 1 Mile race on your own. Run or walk, outdoors or on a treadmill – you choose!
Virtual event participants can live anywhere! Please feel free to invite family and friends from around the country to join you in bringing hope and empowerment to those who come to MetroHealth for trauma, burn, stroke and other critical care needs.
