Join us for the MikeyG Memorial 5K Fun Run on Saturday, June 28, 2025, in the beautiful Germantown, Shelby area! This heartfelt event celebrates the life of Mike Gresham, a beloved member of the Germantown Baptist Church community and a passionate supporter of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Participants will enjoy a scenic course that includes a single loop of 1.03 miles, with the full distance totaling 5K. For those who may not be ready for the full distance, shorter options will be available, ensuring everyone can join in on the fun!
This casual run/walk is an opportunity to honor MikeyG’s memory, share stories, and raise funds for St. Jude in his name. We encourage participants to wear their favorite St. Jude or GBC shirts to show support! Parking will be conveniently available in the back (north) parking lot of the church, and the Start/Finish area will be located under the covered canopy. Don’t miss this chance to come together as a community for a meaningful day filled with camaraderie and remembrance!

Join us to honor the memory of Mike Gresham (aka MikeyG) who was a staple at Germantown Baptist Church and huge advocate for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and passed away April 13, 2025. Mike started running in a 5K training program at GBC so it is only fitting to have a memorial run/walk (not a race) in his his memory on the GBC campus on some of the very paths he started his running journey. The full distance will be 5K but we anticipate having some shorter distances available for those that want to participate but aren't ready for a 5K yet.
This is a casual event to honor and remember MikeyG - join us to swap storied about Mike and help raise funds for St. Jude in his name and memory Feel free to wear your favorite St. Jude or GBC shirts.
Parking is available at the back (north) parking lot of the church marked in yellow below, and Start/Finish will be held under the covered canopy in the back (north) side of the church.
