The event kicks off at 9:30 AM, with check-in beginning at 9:00 AM. Please join us for our 3rd annual Miles for Mik 5k!
Miles for Mik 5k is an annual run/walk/bike event held to honor Mikayla McCarvel. The event commemorates Mikayla who was engaged in an assortment of activities including hockey, soccer, 4H, band and running. This family friendly race builds community, supports opportunities for youth and reminds all of us to live fearlessly just like Mikayla.
All proceeds will go towards the Mikayla McCarvel Foundation, which helps bridge a financial gap for youth to experience sports, fine arts or the great outdoors.
A portion of the proceeds will be dedicated to the Big Wild program hosted by the Minnesota Wild. This summer program aims to introduce hockey to kids ages 9-13yr old who believe they might have missed their chance to play the sport.
