Participants can choose from a competitive 10K, a competitive and non-competitive 5K, or a delightful 1-mile fun run/walk. Kids aged 10 and under can join the Little Gobbler's Dash, a 200-yard dash packed with goodies and cheers, where they can walk, run, bike, scoot, or stroll their way to fun!
Everyone who joins in on the festivities will receive a t-shirt and pin, while the top 8 runners in each of the five age categories will earn a medal, with prizes for the top 2 in each category! Plus, there's a special prize for the most spirited participants, so feel free to dress up and show off your creativity! Enjoy delicious food, a silent auction, and plenty of smiles, all while supporting Miss Emily's Kids Inc Childcare Center. Come and be a part of this exciting event that brings the community together and makes a difference for local children!

Organiser's Description
Have a blast wobbling.... before you start gobbling! This turkey trot is the Saturday before Thanksgiving in Dumas, Texas so locals can still run on thanksgiving in Amarillo too! There is something for everyone in this race set, with a competitive 10k, competitive and non-competitive 5k, and a fun run/walk (1-mile). The little ones are welcome too! The little gobbler's dash is for kids 10 and under and they can walk, run, bike, scoot or stroll a 200-yard dash filled with goodies and cheers! Gobblers, non-competitors, and fun run participants receive a t-shirt and pin for their participation and all top 8 runners in their age category (5 age groups) will earn a medal! The top 2 in every category receive a prize! Also... those who love to dress up or entertain... there is a prize for most spirited in the races too! Join us for food and fun, and silent auction during and after! The proceeds of this event support Miss Emily's Kids Inc Childcare Center in Dumas Tx. This will help them with their winter events and for repairs needed throughout their center! See you there!
