Join us for Mission Miles 2026, a heartfelt event taking place from September 1 to September 30, 2026, that invites participants to walk, hike, run, ruck, swim, or bike a total of 100 miles in honor of America's missing-in-action service members. This meaningful initiative is dedicated to supporting Project Recover's mission to locate and bring home our MIAs, making every mile a tribute to those who have bravely served our country.
You can participate individually or create a team, making it a fantastic opportunity to connect with others who share your commitment to honoring our heroes. Each participant is encouraged to set a fundraising goal between $250 and $2,500, with all contributions directly aiding families of Gold Star and MIA service members. While fundraising is not mandatory, it offers a chance to earn exclusive Project Recover swag and truly engage with the mission. Let’s come together as a community, celebrate our freedom, and make a difference, mile by mile!

WHAT IS MISSION MILES 2026?
From September 1 to September 30, walk, hike, run, ruck, swim, or bike 100 miles in honor of America's missing-in-action service members who have yet to come home. Every mile you log supports Project Recover's mission to search for and bring home America's MIAs.
Set a fundraising goal between $250 and $2,500 (or more) to earn Project Recover swag. Every participant gets their own fundraising page automatically, but fundraising is never required.
WHY PARTICIPATE?
HONOR OUR HEROES. Every mile you cover represents the journey of a service member who fought for our freedom. Your participation is a tribute to their service and sacrifice.
SUPPORT GOLD STAR AND MIA FAMILIES. Your effort helps bring closure to the families who've been waiting for decades for answers about their loved ones.
BE PART OF SOMETHING BIGGER. Join a community of people who share your commitment to this mission. Together, we can do what none of us could do alone.

WAYS TO PARTICIPATE
TEAMS: Create or join a team and take on the challenge together. Team captains can keep things fun and motivating however they like, emails, a Facebook group, video updates, a photo contest, an in-person or virtual finish party. The possibilities are endless.
BIKE MILES: 100 miles on foot in a month sound daunting? Get on a bike. You can log bike miles through a simple drop-down when tracking your progress.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
PARTICIPATE. Register for Mission Miles 2026. Joining is already a contribution, and it sets an example for others to follow.
DONATE. Can't participate yourself? Donate to someone else's fundraising page. Every dollar moves us closer to bringing our MIAs home.
