This vibrant event kicks off the Monaca Community Day celebrations, starting at the picturesque fountain on George Washington Plaza. Runners and walkers will enjoy an out-and-back course that winds its way towards the historic Monaca high school football field, down Atlantic Avenue to the Monaca Pump House, and back to the plaza.
Participants can look forward to awards for the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as top finishers in various age groups. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this fun-filled day while supporting local businesses and the arts in the community. Register by June 20th to guarantee your race t-shirt, and take advantage of early packet pick-up on June 27th at Monaca Brewing Company. Race day packet pick-up starts at 7:30 AM, so gear up for an unforgettable day of fitness, community spirit, and celebration!

The Downtown Dash 5K run/walk is kicking off the Monaca Community Day celebrations. Starting at George Washington Plaza, it will be an out and back course heading towards the old Monaca high school football field, down Atlantic Avenue to the Monaca Pump House and back to George Washington Plaza. Awards will be given after the end of the race. Funds raised by the Monaca Community Development Corporation will help continue our mission of developing a downtown district by helping local businesses with small grants for improvements and by bringing the arts into the community through murals, events, music and much more. After the race dont forget to get ready for the Monaca Community Day celebrations starting at 2:00 pm through the fireworks.
