Taking place in the serene Miller Ecological Park, participants will enjoy a flat and fast course along crushed limestone gravel and natural trails, starting at the Gaga Pit.
Runners and walkers of all levels are welcome to join in the fun at 8:45 AM, and the first 100 registrants will receive a butterfly to release during the event. With an entry fee of just $30, you’ll also receive a handy run/walk belt for your essentials. Proceeds from the Monarch Run will directly benefit improvements to the Lebanon Parks system, making this event a wonderful way to give back to our community while enjoying a beautiful day outdoors. ABOUT THE MONARCH RUN:
Come participate in the Lebanon Parks Monarch Run! The 5K run/walk is held in conjunction with the Lebanon Garden Clubs Butterfly Release, which includes educational displays and a release of hundreds of butterflies in Miller Ecological Park. The running event is hosted by the Lebanon Parks and Recreation Board, with all proceeds going directly towards improvements to the Lebanon Parks System.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The entire run/walk will take place in Miller Ecological Park. The race start is at the Gaga Pit near the front of the park. The race is on the crushed limestone gravel and natural trails in the park. Flat and fast.
REGISTRATION:
Entry Fee: $30
The first 100 participants registered will receive a butterfly to release at the Garden Clubs Butterfly Release event. Additional butterflies can be purchased directly from the Garden Club at the event. Participants will also receive a run/walk belt perfect for stashing your keys, phone, and small wallet.
Paper registrations will be accepted at the Lebanon City Building, Monday through Friday, 8 am 4:30 pm, or by mail. Payment can be made by cash, check or money order. No credit card payments. Race day walk up registration: 8:00-8:30 am at Miller Ecological Park.
PROCEEDS:
Money raised from the event is used to make improvements to the Lebanon Parks system.
