This thrilling event features two race distances: the 1K Zombie Zoom for kids, where little ones can showcase their most creative and spooky costumes, and the 5K Monster Dash, a festive untimed run suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
Join us as we support local hero Lindsey Diele, who is gearing up to tackle the incredible Tahoe 200 challenge. All proceeds from the Monster Dash will go towards Lindsey's gear, travel, and crew expenses, as well as a documentary project capturing her inspiring journey. Expect a morning filled with laughter, excitement, and plenty of zombies and monsters brought to life by the GVHS Zombie SFX Team! Come out, have fun, and help us create unforgettable memories while cheering on an amazing local athlete!

Join us for the 1K ZOMBIE ZOOM and 5K MONSTER DASH, a fun-filled event supporting _Lindsey Diele _as she takes on the extraordinary challenge of running the TAHOE 200! A proud Merced resident, Lindsey is passionate about representing her community, women, moms, and women of color. With a determination fueled by her "why not" spirit, she's embracing this incredible opportunity to be one of 250 runners in this exclusive race. Let's come together to cheer her on and make her dream a reality!
The 1K Zombie Zoom is a kids' race where kids can run and dress up, showcasing their most CREATIVE and SPOOKY costumes. We will have prizes for the Zombie Zoom's most creative and spooky costumes. The 5K Monster Dash is a spooky fun run, an UNTIMED event for all ages and fitness levels. Enjoy a morning of laughter, excitement, and giving back. This event is for kids only (12 and under)! Expect a 1K (.5 mile) walk/run through the Rahilly Park Bike Path accompanied by the race directors. In addition, 2 prizes will be awarded for most creative costume and most spooky! So dress to impress! -
5K Monster Dash

This event is for both competitive runners and the day to day walker! All levels are welcome! Expect a 5K (3.1mile) walk/run through the Rahilly Park Bike Path. This is an out and back run and we will provide two water stations at the .75 mile mark and again at the 1.5 mile mark. The top 3 overall finishers will win prizes!
