Please note bib pick up will start at 8am on race day. Transition will open at the same time. There will be a brief racer meeting shortly before the start of the race at 10am.
SAME DAY REGISTRATION IS ALLOWED, BUT PLEASE NOTE ALL REGISTRATIONS WILL NEED TO BE VIA RUNSIGNUP. WE WILL HAVE A COMPUTER AVAILABLE IF NEEDED. THERE WILL BE NO PAPER REGISTRATIONS.
Winter triathlon held on the pristine trails of the Vasaloppet nordic ski area and sanctioned by USA Triathlon! Participants will run 5km, fat bike 15km, and ski 10km. Skiing will be either skate or classic style. Start and finish at the Nordic Center. MINIMUM TIRE SIZE FOR THE BIKE WILL BE 3.7" TO ENSURE A GOOD EXPERIENCE AND MINIMIZE TRAIL DAMAGE.
The Duathlon will be for those interested in a different race experience, but no need to bring a bike! Participants will start at the same time and run the same 5km course. You will then transition to skis of either skate or classic discipline and ski 15km.
Teams will consist of 2 or 3 participants. If 2 people, person doing the first leg will then do the third leg. Chip will need to be exchanged in the team transition area and securely affixed prior to leaving transition.
Run Course: Will update the 2026 course as conditions allow us to make the determination.
Bike Course: Will update the 2026 course as conditions allow us to make the determination.
Ski Course: Will update the 2026 course as conditions allow us to make the determination.
