Join us for the Mothers Day Weekend Autism Awareness 5K-10K Run/Walk on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at the beautiful Hansen Dam Recreation Area in Pacoima, Los Angeles! This uplifting event is all about celebrating togetherness while raising awareness and support for individuals on the autism spectrum. Whether you choose to run the 5K or the 10K, your participation will directly empower programs that promote inclusivity for children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities.
Expect a day filled with fun for the whole family! All participants will receive a custom PACE finisher medal, a race day t-shirt, and a reusable swag bag loaded with goodies. Plus, enjoy post-race munchies and exciting prizes for the top three male and female finishers in both race categories. Not able to join us in person? No problem! You can still be part of this incredible cause by participating virtually from your local route. With additional activities like a free bounce house, art station for kids, and pampering sessions for moms, there’s something for everyone. Celebrating Togetherness this Mother's Day Weekend
Join us for a fun and challenging 5K - 10K Run/Walk at Hansen Dam, or wherever you are, to show your support for children and adults on the autism spectrum. Your fundraising efforts will empower our work to promote a more inclusive world for individuals with autism, in support of Assistant programs for people & children with developmental disabilities (including but not limited to Autism, Behavior disorders and Down Syndrome).
While the last year was really challenging for all of us, our commitment to the autism community remained unwavering. 1 in 54 children and 1 in 45 adults in the U.S. are on the autism spectrum. The autism community has so many unique sets of strengths, challenges, goals, accomplishments and needs.
