In addition to the competitive 5k race, this year features a new half-mile kids race for just a $5 entry fee, encouraging the youngest athletes to join in the fun. With unique handmade wooden muskie trophies awarded to the top male and female finishers, as well as the top three finishers in each age bracket, the Muskie 5k promises to be a memorable event for runners and spectators alike. Organiser's Description
We are celebrating the 29th annual Muskie 5k. This longstanding event supports Jamestown Students for Charity Club, which helps many students in the Jamestown Area School District, using its funds to help those in our community in need. The weeknight race runs through Pymatuning State Park in Jamestown, PA. This unique course runs across the Pymatuning Dam, offering picturesque views of the reservoir and park. Handmade wooden muskie trophies will be given to the overall winners male and female and the top 3 finishers male and female in each age bracket.
