Organiser's Description
NAMI Arkansas is a private, non-profit organization whose mission is to help people living with mental illness, families, and the community. NAMI Arkansas operates a statewide organization providing and coordinating a network of local support groups providing support, education, and advocacy throughout the state.
The NAMI Arkansas 5K Run/ Walk to END THE STIGMA raises funds for NAMI Arkansas programs that support, educate, and advocate for those affected by mental illness. It also provides a place to celebrate and honor those living with mental health issues and remember those with a mental health condition who have passed on.
We are proud to offer participants 2 separate NAMI Walk/Run options this year.
1. Northwest Arkansas on September 28, 2024, @ Veterans Memorial Park, Fayetteville Arkansas
2. Central Arkansas on October 12, 2024, @ Burns Park Soccer Complex in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
Participants will have the option to choose the event that best fits their location needs. Of course, you can participate in both events.

Walkers will have the option of a 1-mile or 3.1-mile walk. They say you never feel as whole as when doing your part. And this year, you get to RUN your part. After you sign up, connect with us on social media! Are you on Facebook? Do you create on TikTok? Do you Tweet? Have you gone live on Twitch? Whatever platform works for you. You can connect and share your participation and invite your friends, family, and co-workers to participate in 5k Run/walk day. Ready, Set, SHARE... Please help us get the word out for the 2nd annual NAMI run/walk. There will be a cash prize for the top 3 finishers of the 5K Run! More details to come. -
