Join us for the National Latina Day Virtual 5K Run, proudly brought to you by Latinas Run! This event is open to all runners, walkers, and fitness enthusiasts who want to celebrate and support the Latina community, embracing the theme "Strong in Every Shape."
Our theme, "STRONG IN EVERY SHAPE," celebrates the diversity and strength of women of all shapes and sizes. We believe in honoring the unique beauty, resilience, and power of every woman, recognizing that strength comes in many forms.
Mark your calendars for August 20th, National Latina Day, and register now! Participate from anywhere in the country or even the world. Whether you choose to run, walk, or jog the 5K distance (3.1 miles), you can do it on your own termsat your own pace and on your own schedule. A virtual run is a run that can be run or walked from any location you desire. Run, jog, or walk on the road, trail, treadmill, gym or even a track (or even at another race). You run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself.
TIPS FOR YOUR VIRTUAL RUN
1. Be safe Follow appropriate social distancing guidelines. If you feel ill, please stay at home.
2. Plan your course ahead of time Consider using an app like Strava to plan your routes. Join our strava group HERE [https://www.strava.com/clubs/LatinasRun]
3. Tell someone about your runs It establishes accountability to complete it!
4. Run when it works for you.
5. Have fun! You are exercising, enjoying a month long celebration and supporting a good cause!
