The unique Pump & Run format allows participants to enhance their race experience by lifting weights based on their body weight and age, with the potential to shave off 30 seconds from their race time for each lift completed. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Northern Blair County Recreation Center, the route features the scenic Ray Amato Walking Trail and surrounding fields. The Northern Blair County Recreation Center 16th Annual Labor Day Pump & Run 5k Race
*Race Starts Promptly at 8:30am*
The Pump & Run offers a unique twist to our race. Runners are able to reduce their time by lifting weight based on a percentage of their body weight and age. Runners are allowed to lift up to 30 reps, knocking 30 seconds off for each rep.
The race is held on NBCRC property which includes the Ray Amato Walking Trail and surrounding fields as well as the neighboring development.

No lifting required. Awards Medals will be awarded to the top overall male and female in the Pump & Run 5k, top overall male and female in the 5K race and 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in each age category.
