The Wellness Walk will circle the perimeter of our cherished NCCU campus, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with camaraderie and purpose.
This year, the Wellness Walk aims to honor the memory of our fallen Eagles, support those facing health challenges, and inspire everyone in the Eagle community to prioritize their wellness. Participants can join existing teams or create their own in honor of those who have made an impact. Your involvement not only promotes a healthy lifestyle but also contributes to the Healthy Eagle Wellness Endowment Fund, which provides scholarships to dedicated students in Family and Consumer Sciences/Human Sciences. Let's unite to uplift the next generation of health leaders and make a positive impact together! Don't miss out on this uplifting opportunity to foster a healthier community.

It's always heartwarming to see our community come together for another year of Homecoming festivities. I would like to invite you to join us as we promote health, wellness and life balance among our Eagle friends and loved ones. For the second year in a row, The Ultimate Homecoming will feature the Wellness Walk around the perimeter of our Dear Ole NCCU campus on Friday, October 25, 2024 between 7:00am and 9:00am. The purpose of this Wellness Walk includes bringing family and friends together to:
* Remember the fallen Eagles,
* Encourage Eagles dealing with difficult health challenges, and
* Inspire the entire Eagle community to invest time, energy and resources into their personal wellness
Here's how you can participate:
* Register to walk/run with one of the _EXISTING TEAMS_ honoring an Eagle alum who is no longer with us or one that is battling a difficult health challenge,
* Sign Up and create a_ HONORING EAGLES _team in the name of an Eagle alum who is no longer with us or one that is battling a health challenge, and/or
* Donate to participate virtually or simply support the cause.
The Homecoming Wellness Walk/Run supports the _HEALTHY EAGLE WELLNESS ENDOWMENT FUND. _This endowment provides scholarships for exceptional Family and Consumer Sciences/Human Sciences majors dedicated to enhancing health and wellness in the Black community. Through their educational pursuits, community service, and career goals, these students demonstrate a profound commitment to positive change. Your participation helps empower the next generation of health leaders.
