Get ready for an exciting day of fun and fitness at the 2nd Annual Monte Vista Historical Association 5K Fun Run & Walk on Saturday, November 8th, 2025, in the beautiful San Antonio, Bexar! This family-friendly event invites participants of all ages to either run or walk through one of Texas' largest Historic Districts, where you can admire stunning "Gilded Age" homes and a variety of architectural styles built between 1890 and 1930.
The event kicks off and concludes at Landa Library, and after the run/walk, stick around for a fantastic community gathering featuring kids' activities, a holiday market, delicious food trucks, and live music from 10 AM to 2 PM. This year, enjoy the added benefit of chip timers on bibs and a newly improved course with clear signage! Early-bird registration is just $25 and includes a swag item and bib number, so be sure to register before October 1st to guarantee your goodies. Day-of registration is available for $35. Join us for the 2nd Annual Monte Vista Historical Association 5k Fun Run & Walk! People all ages are invited to run or walk through one of Texas' largest Historic District. Marvel at the "Gilded Aged" homes built from 1890-1930 and enjoy passing a variety of architectural styles. The event will start & end at Landa Library.
After the fun run/walk is over, stick around the grounds of Landa for kids activities, a holiday market, food trucks & music from 10am - 2pm.
New this year: Bibs will have chip timers and there will be a new and improved course with clear signage.
Early-bird registration for the race is $25 and includes a swag item & bib number. Swag items are only guaranteed for those that register before Oct 1st and will be given out based on availability on race day. Day-of registration is $35 and includes a bib number.

Volunteers stay abreast of city ordinances, current laws and ongoing development affecting residents of Monte Vista and work together to preserve, maintain and improve our neighborhood.
