Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the 2nd Annual Monte Vista Historical Association 5K Fun Run & Walk on Saturday, November 8, 2025, in the beautiful San Antonio neighborhood of Bexar! This exciting event invites participants of all ages to enjoy a scenic route through one of Texas' largest Historic Districts, showcasing stunning turn-of-the-century homes and a variety of architectural styles from 1890 to 1930.
The fun kicks off at Landa Library, where after the race, you can enjoy a festive atmosphere filled with kids' activities, a holiday market, delicious food trucks, and live music from 10 AM to 3 PM. This year features a new and improved course, complete with clear signage and a clock at the start and finish lines. Early-bird registration is just $25, including a swag item and bib number, while same-day registration is available for $35. Don’t miss out on the chance to win awards in various categories, including overall winners and even the first dog and stroller to cross the finish line! Join us for the 2nd Annual Monte Vista Historical Association 5k Fun Run & Walk! People all ages are invited to run or walk through one of Texas' largest Historic District. Marvel at the turn of the century homes built from 1890-1930 and enjoy passing a variety of architectural styles. The event will start & end at Landa Library.
After the fun run/walk is over, stick around the grounds of Landa for kids activities, a holiday market, food trucks & music from 10am - 3pm.
New this year: New and improved course with clear signage & a clock at the start/finish of the race.
Early-bird registration for the race is $25 and includes a swag item & bib number. Swag items are only guaranteed for those that register before Oct 1st and will be given out based on availability on race day. Day-of registration is $35 and includes a bib number.

Volunteers stay abreast of city ordinances, current laws and ongoing development affecting residents of Monte Vista and work together to preserve, maintain and improve our neighborhood.
