Join us for the 43rd Annual Neosho Dogwood Run 5K on Saturday, April 19, 2025, in the charming city of Neosho, Missouri! This beloved event, known for being the most affordable walk/run in the 4-State area, invites families, friends, and furry companions to enjoy a delightful day amidst the stunning blooming dogwoods. With a scenic course that starts and finishes at Big Spring Park, participants will experience the breathtaking beauty of Neosho's streets lined with vibrant dogwoods and redbuds.
The Dogwood Run is not just about the race; it's about community and celebration! Awards will be presented to age group winners from under 10 to over 70, and a special Delynn Kuhn Lifetime Achievement Award will honor the fastest older runner. The first 100 entrants will receive a dogwood sapling, and top male and female finishers will take home a large sapling as well. Plus, there’s an optional special event T-shirt to commemorate your participation. Bring your camera to capture the beautiful scenery and create lasting memories. 43rd Edition of this most affordable walk/run in the 4-State area, the Dogwood Run 5K has been held annually in Neosho, Missouri since Eldon Morgan first hosted it in 1983.
This race's only intention is to see you and your family walk or run and enjoy the famous, blooming Neosho Dogwoods on your way!
Awards for age group winners from 'under 10' to 'over 70' and the Delynn Kuhn Lifetime Achievement Award for the fastest older runner. The first 100 entrants get a dogwood sapling. Top male and female receive a large dogwood sapling. Special event T-shirt is optional.

Clockwise loop with start and finish at Big Spring Park in Neosho, MO. The course takes you through the most beautiful streets with the dogwoods and redbuds in full bloom. Bring your camera!
Proceeds from the event typically go to a local infrastructure project to support active lifestyles in Neosho, MO. Some of our local contributions of the past include public tools for the Skate park (in Morse Park), doggie bag poles around the park, dozens of new dogwood trees plated around the park and helping the Joplin Road Runners buy a chip timing system which they use to organize local charity races!
For this walk/run, Joplin RoadRunners keep the cost low so you can bring the whole family without breaking the bank, or sign up a friend for their first 5K.
