This uplifting event honors the memory of September 11, 2001, and invites participants of all ages to partake in either a 5K race or a 1-mile fun run. The festivities kick off at the Hatbox Events Center, with the 1-mile fun run starting at 7:30 AM and the 5K race following at 8:00 AM.
Participants will have the opportunity to earn medals in various age categories, from under 12 to over 80, celebrating the spirit of community and resilience. All registrants who sign up by September 3rd will receive a guaranteed event T-shirt, while supplies last for later sign-ups. With chip timing provided by I:40 Race Service, this is not just a run but a chance to come together, remember, and celebrate our strength as a community. ON SEPTEMBER 13TH WE WILL JOIN TOGETHER TO NEVER FORGET WHAT HAPPENED ON SEPTEMBER 11, 2001, BY RUNNING OR WALKING A 5K OR 1 MILE. MUSKOGEE HIGH SCHOOL JUNIOR ROTC WOULD BE HONORED TO HAVE YOU JOIN US AT HATBOX EVENTS CENTER FOR THE 1ST ANNUAL NEVER FORGET 5K & FUN RUN.
RACE DETAILS
START TIME: 1 MILE FUN RUN WILL START AT 7:30 AND THE 5K WILL START AT 8:00
LOCATION & COURSE: HATBOX EVENTS CENTER (640 S 40TH ST, MUSKOGEE, OK 74401). WE ARE STILL WORKING ON THE COURSE ROUTE, BUT WE WILL POST THE THE COURSE MAP SOON AS THAT IS DETERMINED.
T-SHIRTS: SIGN UP BY SEPT 3RD TO GET A GUARANTEED T-SHIRT. ALL REGISTRATIONS AFTER THIS DATE, T-SHIRTS WILL BE FIRST COME FIRST SERVE.
