Healthy New Albany (HNA) is proud to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the New Albany Walking Classic (the Walk) that will take place on Sunday, September 15, 2024. Join North America's largest walking-only race by signing up for either the 5k (3.1 miles) or 10k (6.2 miles) distance. Help us celebrate 20 years of promoting well-being that has impacted thousands of participants from local, state, national, and international communities.
OUR MISSION
The New Albany Walking Classic was created to promote physical activity as a vehicle to improve physical, mental, and social well-being. Since its inception in 2005, the Walk has been responsible for the development of health-related programs and services that have benefited people of all ages and from all geographic areas.
