Taking place in Jacksonville, NC, the race offers a thrilling experience in the heart of a military town, surrounded by Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Station New River. Starting and finishing in downtown Jacksonville, participants will conquer the swim portion in the scenic New River, cycle through MCB Camp Lejeune, and sprint through the streets of downtown. 7:00am- Packet pickup closes (Tri & DU Athletes)

7:10am- Pre race meeting

NOTE: ALL ATHLETES MUST PICKUP THEIR CHIP NEAR THE PACKET PICKUP AREA BEFORE THEY RACE.

Q&A

IS THE WATER SAFE?
Yes the water is tested by the City of Jacksonville Stormwater Department. If for some reason it is unsafe, we will cancel the swim portion of the event. Please note that it is normal river with the potential to see different types of wildlife.
AM I ALLOWED TO WEAR A WETSUIT?
Wetsuits are only allowed if water temperature is below 78 degrees. We will be checking the water temperature the day before the race and will let everyone know.
ARE THERE FINISHER MEDALS?
YES! Everyone receives a finisher medal who completes the race in person or virtually.
