Join us for the Zoar Merry Miles on Saturday, December 6, 2025, in the charming village of Zoar, Tuscarawas! As you navigate the scenic course, enjoy the beautiful holiday decorations that adorn the village, featuring a mix of roads and trails, moderate hills, and stunning views of the Zoar Garden and wetlands.
Be prepared for a fun challenge, but note that strollers are not permitted due to the narrow trails and tree roots. Well-behaved dogs on a fixed leash are welcome to join in on the festivities! Finishers will be rewarded with a locally handcrafted medal and can enjoy delicious snacks like cookies, soup, hot chocolate, and more at the finish line. Don't miss out on the chance to grab a T-shirt, available in a variety of sizes, but be sure to register before November 15 to guarantee your shirt! The event kicks off at 9:00 AM, following registration and packet pickup at 7:30 AM, with awards presented at 10:00 AM to the top finishers in various categories. Organiser's Description
Kick off your Christmas in Zoar experience with the Zoar Merry Miles, a 3 mile fun run/walk, that takes you around and through the village decorated in its Christmas splendor.
The course is a mix of roads and trail with a few moderate hills, passing the Zoar Garden, crossing the iron bridge, taking in the wetlands and accessing the trail that leads back up into the village. A challenging, yet fun course!
NOTE:
DUE TO THE TRAIL BEING A BIT NARROW IN A COUPLE OF SPOTS, AND SCATTERED WITH SOME TREE ROOTS, STROLLERS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED.
DOGS ON A FIXED LEASH ARE PERMITTED ON THE COURSE.
SNACKS & REFRESHMENTS:
Cookies, soup, water, hot chocolate, granola bars and fruit at the finish line.
T-SHIRTS:
We offer Youth X-Small to Large, Adult Small to 3X-Large, & a No T-Shirt Option for a $5 discount. T-SHIRTS WILL BE LIMITED AFTER NOVEMBER 15TH!
FINISHERS MEDAL:
