Get ready to kick off the New Year with an exhilarating race at the New Year 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon taking place in Gadsden, AL, on Saturday, January 10, 2026! This exciting event promises a fun and invigorating atmosphere as runners of all levels come together to challenge themselves on a scenic pea gravel trail. The races will begin at 8:00 AM, with packet pickup available 30 minutes prior.
Participants can choose from three distances: the 5K, which consists of a two-loop out-and-back course; the 10K, featuring four loops; and the Half Marathon, which includes six loops of the out-and-back course. With a generous time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes, there's plenty of time to enjoy the experience! Don't forget to show off your creativity—there will be awards for the best costumes, and all finishers will receive medals. Join us in Gadsden for a fantastic day of running, camaraderie, and celebration as we welcome the New Year!

Your GPS may take you to a small building on Old S 4st Street.
If so, go south onto Old S. 4 Street and turn right in the parking lot.
We are just behind the Gadsden Mall.
This course is on a pea gravel trail.
